Mike Monroe has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. His clients range from celebrities, to athletes of every caliber, to complete novices. Mike’s expertise lies in program design and creating fitness solutions for individuals and organizations. His broad base of knowledge, unique background and deep understanding of the human body, combined with an innate sense of creativity, enable him to build safe, effective, and enjoyable workout programs. Mike’s experience ranges from basic weight-loss and general conditioning, to injury rehab, pre- and post-natal protocols, as well as training for endurance events such as triathlons, marathons, and cycling events.

Mike holds three of the industry’s most respected qualifications:
The Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) qualifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as the Certified Strength and Condition Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Academy (NCSA).

Professional Experience: Upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Mike served twelve years as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mike participated in combat operations in the Persian Gulf and Somalia. Mike served as a leader of a Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance Unit (Special Operations) and as an exchange officer with the elite British Commandos. Following the Marine Corps, he was accepted into a highly competitive program with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Mike graduated at the top of his class in some of the most physically and mentally challenging schools in the world, including:

  • US Marine Mountain Leader Course
  • Survival/Escape/Resistance/Evasion School
  • US Army Special Forces Freefall Parachute School
  • Marine Amphibious Reconnaissance Course
  • British Royal Marine All-Arms Commando Course
